Instagram launches creator-only Posts Reels and Chats

Instagram launches creator-only Posts Reels and Chats: Earlier this year, Instagram unveiled a brand-new feature that enables producers to charge for their premium content. In addition, the business is now releasing new tools for artists to interact with platform users.

The startup, which Meta owns, is now rolling out Subscriber Chats, Subscriber Reels, Subscriber Posts, and Subscriber Home after testing a few features in January of this year.

Until this point, only authors with a unique badge on their profile may upload Subscriber Stories. Additionally, they may have hosted Subscriber Lives.

In a blog post that Meta posted, it is said that Instagram Subscriptions for artists have been made available across the US. However, when this model is available to authors in other nations, including India, is not specified.

The business has made it clear that till the end of 2024, Meta will not charge subscription fees.

User-to-User Chats

The tool will let users engage with their favorite artists, as its name indicates.

Up to 30 individuals may participate in the conversation and discuss topics that are important to them. According to Instagram, Subscriber talks, which are run by Messenger, may be started right from your inbox or story and terminate on their own after 24 hours.

A new “join conversation” button connected to an article allows subscribers to join chats.

A separate tab for managing discussions and the inbox looks to be coming to Instagram DM as well.

Posts and Reels Exclusive

Creators may now post exclusive Posts and Reels after Subscriber Stories. These will have a sticker or emblem that says “exclusive.”

Similar to this, a new tab on the profile will only display exclusive postings.

It is yet unknown whether the new tab will let authors pin content.

“We’ve also built a subscription story sticker and promo reels to encourage followers to subscribe,” continues Instagram. “We’ve also provided a simple method to offer subscribers a personalized welcome when they join using welcome reels.”
