Prithvi Shaw doesn't pass the fitness test.

It was terrible news for the Delhi Capitals ahead of the IPL 2022 because their star player Prithvi Shaw did not pass the “Yo-Yo” test, according to the information we have.

The former U-19 World Cup captain went to the NCA to give an updated report on his health status. The results weren’t what he had hoped for.

Yo-Yo test qualification score is 16.5 for men. It has been found that the DC opener has scored less than 15 on the test.

‘These are updates on my health.’ Prithvi can play for Delhi Capitals in the IPL. A BCCI source told PTI on condition of anonymity that it’s a measure of how healthy someone is, not an essential thing in the world.

“Look, he has played three Ranji games in a row.” Before long, your fatigue can also hurt your Yo-Yo score.

It might be because Shaw hasn’t been the fittest player in India recently that he hasn’t been in any of the current senior teams in any of the different types of games they play.

Even though Mayank Agarwal hasn’t played well for Karnataka, the team’s management has chosen him as a backup opener in the white-ball format.

In this case, the source thinks that Prithvi might not be fit enough to play for Team India.

He also passed the ‘Yo-Yo’ Test, a general fitness test, with flying colors at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. Hardik Pandya will now lead the Gujarat Titans in the upcoming IPL 2022, which starts next year.

When Pandya took the Yo-Yo test, he did very well. He got a 17-plus score, which is above the cut-off level.

Pandya’s performance during his two days at the NCA can also be a good sign for Indian cricket. Before the IPL, the BCCI ensures that all its centrally-contracted players are healthy.
