JERUSALEM: Following an hours-long pursuit around Tel Aviv, Israeli security personnel shot and killed a Palestinian who had slain two Israelis at a Tel Aviv pub.
The Israel bar attack was the latest in a series of violent street attacks that claimed the lives of 13 people and shook the country.
According to Defense Minister Benny Gantz, Israel will expand its operations against the “wave of terror,” and the attackers and those who send them will pay a “severe price.”

According to Israel’s Shin Bet security service, the shooter was discovered hiding near a mosque in Jaffa, just south of Tel Aviv. The assailant was killed during a firefight, according to the agency.
