According to Mr. Ashwathnarayan, the state administration is working to find solutions to the issues the businesses are having.
Heavy rains have caused flood-like conditions in a few areas of Karnataka. However, Bengaluru, the state capital, is still under water since the floodwater has not yet subsided from the roadways and side streets.
Several techies in the city—known as the Silicon Valley of India—arrived at their jobs on tractors on Monday since the roads were still flooded.
Basavaraj Bommai, the chief minister, laid the responsibility for the city’s flooding squarely at the feet of the former Congress administration.
“Rainfall in Karnataka, particularly in Bengaluru, has been unparalleled. In the last 90 years, there has not been this type of rain. All of the tanks are bursting with content. Rain is falling nonstop, “he informed reporters, Mr. Bommai.
“This resulted from poor management and an administration that was wholly unprepared by the previous Congress government. This is the outcome of the Congress government’s poor leadership. They never considered keeping the waters clean.”
