Washington: Ivanka Trump, the daughter of former President Donald Trump, testified before a House of Representatives committee on Tuesday for approximately eight hours, answering questions many hours regarding January 6, 2021, siege on the U.S. Capitol.
“She’s responding to inquiries. I mean, she’s addressing questions, but not in a broad, talkative sense, “The panel’s Democratic chairman, Representative Bennie Thompson, said to reporters at the Capitol.
A source familiar with the testimony told Reuters that her testimony began Tuesday morning and finished at 6 p.m. about eight hours later.

Thompson responded to reporters when asked if he would describe Ivanka Trump as collaborating “She came in on her own, which is certainly valuable. We didn’t need to issue a subpoena.”
Last week, her husband, Jared Kushner, testified before the Select Committee as the probe into the Capitol attack broadens to encompass the close family of the former president.
