The England and Wales Cricket Board said on Tuesday that Jason Roy had been given a two-match international ban that will be suspended.
The ECB says that a disciplinary panel of the Cricket Discipline Commission has decided what to do with Jason Roy after he admitted to a charge that he acted in a way that might be bad for cricket or bad for the game, the ECB, or himself. The details of the crime have not been made public.

Roy, who helped England win the 50-over World Cup in 2019, has been banned from his country’s next two matches that he can play in. If he behaves well, the ban will be lifted for 12 months.
The 31-year-old has also been fined 2,500 pounds (about $3,300).
If Roy plays for England in the T20 World Cup later this year, he recently said he was taking an “indefinite break” from cricket. This means that he will not play in the Indian Premier League.
