Jedi Fallen Order 2 is part of a new set of Star Wars games

Jedi Fallen Order 2 is part of a new set of Star Wars games: New Star Wars games for 2022 reveale by EA and Respawn Entertainment. Including the highly anticipated Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 and a brand new FPS developed by Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2 team at Respawn.

As well as a strategy title by one of the developers in The XCOM: Enemy Unknown series produced by Firaxis.

The development of the three titles has “already begun,” and hopefully, at the very least, one is coming out this year, and possibly Star Wars Jedi 2.

New Star Wars Games 2022: Jedi Fallen Order 2

The next Star Wars Jedi game probably schedule to launch in November of this year.

However, the latest press release only confirms Respawn’s Fallen Order team at Respawn “are already working on the next game” within the series.

Likely following the adventures of the Jedi-in-training Cal Kestis (Cameron Monaghan) and his gang in their quest to escape his Inquisitors along with Darth Vader.

The first game was among the most enjoyable Star Wars games ever, so we hope that it will become superior.

New Star Wars Games 2022: Respawn FPS

The central team of Respawn, headed by the game’s director Peter Hirschmann, is working on a brand new Star Wars FPS.

In addition to Star Wars Battlefront 2 and the Jedi Knight series, where third-person was the preferred choice. It hasn’t been any Star Wars FPS since either Republic Commando or Dark Forces.

“This is a story I have always wanted to tell,” Hirschmann states in the press release. But the release declares Respawn may have “just begun work” on the shooter, which implies that it’s several years off.

A brand new Star Wars Games 2022: A strategy akin to XCOM

This Star Wars strategy game is a “production collaboration” between Respawn. And the new company Bit Reactor, which former Firaxis producer Greg Foertsch leads,

who was the art director for the game XCOM in addition to XCOM 2. Which means that it is likely that the Star Wars title may be an XCOM-like turn-based game, too?

In a chat by GameIndustry, Foertsch states that the team wants to blur the lines “between what a strategy game is and what an action game is” by releasing its debut game. And we can expect more action-packed strategies, unlike the more sluggish XCOM.

The games join Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, has announced for release in April. The open-world Ubisoft game is currently in development. This means Star Wars gaming fans finally have something to anticipate.
