Jofra Archer joins the England team for the final test after the second negative check

Jofra Archer joined England for the decisive test of cricket against the West Indies after a second negative test for the coronavirus on Tuesday.

Archer was removed from the team last week on the eve of the second test after he violated biological safety rules with an unauthorized trip to his home in Hove.

They placed him in five days of solitary confinement at the Old Trafford hotel on-site, released him alone for a carefully controlled fitness job, and then fined him approximately 15,000 pounds ($ 19,000) at a disciplinary hearing.

After coming into contact with an unidentified individual during his detour between Southampton and Manchester, Archer had to test negative twice before he was allowed to return to the playgroup.

Its availability gives England a complete set of six sealers to choose from for the deciding series that will begin on Friday in Manchester. Stuart Broad, Chris Woakes, and Sam Curran contributed to the 113-race victory on Monday, while James Anderson, Mark Wood, and Archer rested completely after playing in Southampton.

Captain Joe Root insisted that Archer’s judgment ruling would not be carried out against him when it came to selection.

“It was disappointing on our part, but as far as I’m concerned, he’s been through a disciplinary meeting, he’s very aware of the consequences of his actions and very sorry,” said Root.

“As companions and companions, we have been there for him. He is aware that he made a massive mistake, but once the disciplinarian has passed, it is time for us to see that he is available.”
