Earlier on Monday, the BJP chief had visited the Gorakhnath temple followed by a short visit to the Gita Press in Gorakhpur. Later, Mr. Nadda addressed the “cabin sammelans” and will also meet with the families of Vantangiya.

Three party leaders, JP Nadda, Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, are scheduled to address the cabin sammelans and celebrate yatras next month.

Uttar Pradesh is scheduled to go to Assembly elections in 2022.
