Television actress Kannada Soujanya was found dead in her apartment on Thursday. Police have recovered a death note, according to Kannada TV media.
Reports state that she lived with her boyfriend in an apartment on the outskirts of Bangalore. On Thursday, she had sent her boyfriend to bring breakfast, and when he returned he found her body hanging from the ceiling.
A preliminary investigation says it is a suicide case. In the four-page death note recovered from the apartment, the deceased did not blame anyone, the reports add.
The actress reportedly mentioned that she suffered from some health issues and was unable to discuss it with anyone. Although Soujanya had tried to receive treatment, her condition did not improve, so she decided to commit suicide, the actress said in the death note.
She apologized to her family members for her extreme stride and thanked those who helped her build a career in the entertainment industry.
The actress hailed from Kodagu and worked on a couple of serials on Kannada. He had acted in movies like Chowkattu and Fun.
The case is being investigated by the Kumbalgodu police.
