KCR Promises Free Power For Farmers If TRS Forms Government

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao stated on Monday that farmers throughout the nation will get free electricity if a non-BJP administration was elected in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

After opening an integrated district office building and the TRS party district headquarters in Nizamabad, the prime minister of that city accused the government of forcing farmers to install meters on agricultural pump sets in a speech to the public.

“After the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, a non-BJP flag will fly over all the farmers in our nation. We will overthrow this anti-poor, anti-farmer, and anti-labor regime and install our own in Delhi (at the national level). I have excellent news for the country’s farmers: if you elect a non-BJP administration, free electricity would be provided like Telangana “Rao made a promise.

He said that no state in the nation provides all residents, even farmers, with high-quality electricity around the clock and that Telangana is the only state to give each Dalit family a financial assistance package of 10 lakh.

He accused the NDA administration of making farming more difficult for farmers by raising the price of fertilizers, petrol, and other agricultural inputs so farms could be taken and handed to corporations.

He further said that although the Centre has written off loans totaling 12 lakh crore as non-performing assets (NPA), it is hesitant to provide free electricity to all farmers in the nation, which will cost 1.45 lakh crore.

When the crowd applauded, KCR said that Telangana should lead the struggle for the country after asking the public whether he should enter national politics.

He said the nation did not need a government that splits up the opposition parties and “buys MLAs like livestock” (to topple governments).
