Kerala Chief Minister Criticizes Udaipur Killing: On Tuesday, Rajasthan’s Udaipur city’s cruel murder of a tailor was denounced by Kerala’s chief minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, who said such horrible deeds would only disturb our peaceful existence.
He also advised everyone to preserve peace and calm while pleading with the government to take harsh punishment against the offenders.

After killing a tailor in Udaipur with a cleaver and posting videos online in which they claimed to be retaliating for an insult to Islam, sporadic acts of violence in the Rajasthani city led to the imposition of a curfew in certain areas.
The males, Riaz Akhtari and Ghouse Mohammad, were detained about this.
