Kidnapped One-Month-Old Baby Rescued In Ghaziabad

A one-month-old baby, who was allegedly abducted from a town in Bulandshahr on Monday by relatives, was rescued, police said.

It was discovered that his aunt and uncle, a childless couple, decided to kidnap the boy and raise him as they were unable to conceive, police said.

The couple took the boy from Doongra Jogi village under the pretext of vaccinating him, but he did not return, they said, adding that a case was filed and a search operation was launched, Anoopshahr circle officer Vandana Sharma said.

Five police teams were formed to search for the boy and he was finally rescued from Ghaziabad on Monday night.
