Kingdom Hearts Tamagotchi is coming: It’s a great time to be a Kingdom Hearts fan because fans celebrate the series’ 20th birthday. After all these years, the game is still very popular, and fans are eager to see what comes next.
Since Kingdom Hearts’ future isn’t certain right now, the game has been getting a lot of merchandise and tie-ins with other games. Having Sora in Smash Bros. Ultimate was a big deal. Soon, people who don’t want to fight but still like Kingdom Hearts characters will be able to play as them in the game.
For people who don’t know, Tamagotchi is a small electronic toy that first came out in the 1990s. Virtual pets like Tamagotchi are now getting a Kingdom Hearts makeover in honor of the game’s 10th birthday. To start with, players get an egg that turns into a baby Tamagotchi.

They can then raise it through different stages of development, like going to school or going to work. These, of course, are based on Kingdom Hearts, so the system is a little different.
The Kingdom Hearts Tamagotchi comes in two different versions: one that can use in light mode and one that can use in dark mode.
In the same way that there have been Tamagotchi anime and game tie-ins before, players will be able to raise a lot of different characters from Kingdom Hearts. Sora, Riku, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, Aqua, and twenty other characters are said to be in the game. The company also has to decide on two more Heartless characters fans will choose.
At $20 apiece, the Kingdom Hearts Tamagotchi will be very cheap. Premium Bandai is taking pre-orders through May 5, so you can get yours now. They’re going to be out in October. People who love the Tamagotchi can’t buy them directly from their favorite site in English.
There’s a good chance that a translated version will make in the future. Fans will have to either import the item or buy it from a reseller in the future.
This game isn’t as well known as Kingdom Hearts these days. It was huge in its day, though, with tens of millions sold over the years. It hasn’t been forgotten, either, with collaborations from recent years like Tamagotchi on sneakers and even Calls of Duty: Modern Warfare mentioning Tamagotchi in 2019. Fans who grew up with both Tamagotchi and Kingdom Hearts will likely enjoy this new game.
