Lashkar militants arrested by NIA from Kashmir
The Central Investigation Agency (NIA) has had great success in curbing terrorism. Altaf Ahmed Rakib, a member of the Lashkar-e-Taiba militant group, was arrested from Kashmir. Altaf, a school teacher by profession, has been arrested from Bandipora. After interrogating Tania Parveen, who was arrested by the army last year, Altaf’s fate matched. It is learned that he will be brought to Kolkata on Friday and taken to Bankshal Court.
According to the NIA, the school teacher lived in the Altaf area with five other ordinary people. But he was secretly recruiting militants in Lashkar. And he used to do that through social media. Investigating officers said Altaf had contacted Tania Parveen through Facebook. Then he brainwashed Tania. The young woman then joined the Pak-backed militant group Lashkar. However, not only Tania, but Altaf had recruited many people in the country. After interrogating him, the NIA wants to get their fate. It is learned that he will be taken to Bankshal Court on Friday.
Earlier, in March last year, Tania Parveen, a graduate student from Baduria in North 24 Parganas, was caught on suspicion of militancy. He was first arrested by the Special Task Force of the State Police. Within a couple of weeks, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) took over the investigation of the case. After interrogating Tania, much secret information came up. The college student herself was inspired by Lashkar-e-Taiba, a banned militant group in Pakistan, to work for them. By forming groups on social media, many young men and women like him used to inspire young women with the ideology of jihad. That’s how he made the module. Militants were recruited online. And Tania used to do everything sitting in Baduria. Eventually, however, he was caught by the police. And this time Altaf’s hadith was found through him.
