League Of Legends (LoL) Ranking System explained All ranks:
Like every other game available, League of Legends (LoL) has a system of ranking with ranks that are unique to its own.
The unique ranking system rewards players committed to giving their best and performing well and helps distinguish the top players among the players. These systems motivate players to be adamant and work towards the game’s highest ranking.
Suppose you also wonder how the ranking system functions within League of Legends; we have the answer for you. We will take you through the design and explain how it works.
League of Legends (LoL) has nine ranks, known as”the League System. Nine levels showcase the skills of players. The ranks range from the most advanced to and lowest. The ranks include:
- Iron
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
- Diamond
- Master
- Grandmaster
- Challenger
- Of all these ranks, of which there are many, the Challenger ranking is most prestigious and is the one that all players strive for. The Iron rank is among the lowest, and you’ll most likely start your game from that. You’ll then have to grind your way to Challenger, but this can be a bit more difficult to do than you think.
- With this model, teams with similar skill levels can compete against one another. The players in each division will be ranked according to League points (LP). You will earn LP when you win a ranked match. In addition, you’ll lose LP when you lose a game that is organized. How much LP you gain or lose will depend upon the score of your MMR (Match Making Rating). You will be able to track your progress on your profile.
- The tiers, ranging from Iron to Diamond, are divided into four separate divisions. The divisions are represented with the Roman numeral equivalent. It starts with IV (4) to I (1) I (1), which is where four is the lowest while 1 represents the top. Tiers above Diamond do not depend on divisions. They solely rely on League Points (LP) and the number of players in the rank-tiers. A different term to refer them to is Apex levels. In each division, you’ll also find basic armor. It will then be upgraded depending on the splits.
- There you go. It’s all you need to be aware of the Ranking System of League of Legends (LoL) and how they function. As you will see, you are required to do your best to ensure that you earn enough LP to get to Challenger.
