Lewis Hamilton was victorious in Sunday’s race. Still, now he’s racking up another win to add to the bank account of his -The Formula One superstar just sold his NYC penthouse for $49.5 million … which translates into a $5.6 million gain!!
The three-floor house is massive. It contains over 12,000 sq. feet and an incredibly well-equipped kitchen, a private elevator, and 20-foot high ceilings.
36-year-old Hamilton -who was first in Hamilton’s first race at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix over the weekend — purchased the six-bedroom, six-bathroom Tribeca home in the year… spending about $44 million to secure the property.
LH has access to the 70-foot pool and a gym, Turkish bath, courtyard, and lounge outside.
Fun fact: the building was originally an industrial bookbinding facility before it was transformed into one of the most sought-after places within the Big Apple.
If you feel that the price for the property is outrageous, Hamilton initially listed the property for sale at $57 million in the year 2019 … before he agreed to the $49.5 mill.
The person who bought the property is in good company Weeknd, Justin Timberlake, Harry Styles, Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel, and The Weeknd have been linked to the location through the years.
Perhaps the most significant benefit of the apartment? Two private parking spaces. Also, given that this is New York, we’re talking about this; that’s a huge deal.
Hamilton will not go hungry, but there’s a spot near to where Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen lay their heads.
