LK Advani turns 94: Prime Minister Modi greets BJP’s longest-serving president, prays for his long and healthy life.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted former deputy prime minister and longest-serving BJP president LK Advani on his 94th birthday today. In addition to Prime Minister Modi, other BJP leaders, including the party’s national chairman JP Nadda, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, also greeted Advani and praised his contributions to the country and the party.

BJP Chairman JP Nadda praised the veteran leader for bringing the party to the masses and playing a key role in the development of the country. Wishing him a long and healthy life, he said the nonagenarian leader was an inspiration to millions of party workers.

The main architect of the BJP’s rise as a major national political party by joining his fortune with the Ram Janmabhoomi movement in the late 1980s.

Advani designed and shaped Hindutva politics, and led the party and its predecessor Jana Sangh for decades together. with former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Born in Karachi in undivided India, he joined the RSS and then the Jana Sangh since the latter’s founding.
