Malaysian Government will take action against teachers who refused Covid-19 vaccine.

Kuala Lumpur: The Education Ministry will take action against 250 teachers who did not choose to get vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mohd Radzi Md Jidin (pic) told reporters that his ministry and the Public Service Department were considering what actions should take.

“The procedure we’re investigating is being done in the context of public service procedures and law.

“He said they will not allow teaching classes in person. And they will also isolate them from other teachers when they report to school.” 

They said to the reporters at a joint press conference held with Senior Secretary (Security) Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hassan on Wednesday.

However, he noted that 2,500 was not much compared to the 500000 teachers across Malaysia. But the security of students was the most crucial concern.

“The safety of the children is our top priority. We are studying the best course of action on this matter,” the official said.
