The Green Bay Packers head coach is Matt LaFleur. Before accepting the position in Green Bay, LaFleur had ten years of coaching experience in the NFL.
He initially rose to prominence in the coaching community while mentoring Matt Ryan for two years as the quarterback’s coach with the Atlanta Falcons.
LaFleur assisted Ryan in leading the Falcons to Super Bowl LI and winning NFL MVP accolades. He also served as the offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans and the Los Angeles Rams for two seasons.

Career
Playing Career of Matt LaFleur
From 1998 to 1999, LaFleur attended Western Michigan University. While attending classes there, he was a wide receiver.
Later, in 2000, he changed schools to Saginaw Valley State.
In 2000, LaFleur began playing quarterback, and he did so up until 2002.
He briefly played for the Omaha Beef in the National Indoor Football League. He was the quarterback’s backup.
The following summer, Matt joined the Montana Billings Outlaws.
Career as a Coach for Matt LaFleur
In 2003, LaFleur began working as a coach at Saginaw Valley State, where he had previously played and studied.
He was a graduate assistant on offense.
In the nearby high schools, he also worked as a substitute teacher, primarily teaching arithmetic.
LaFleur then moved to Mount Pleasant, Michigan, to work as an offensive assistant at Central Michigan University in 2004 and 2005.
In 2006, he began working as a quarterback and receivers coach at Northern Michigan University in Marquette.
