Missing 10-Year-Old Girl Lily Peters Found Dead in Wisconsin. 

According to media reports, police in Wisconsin are investigating the death of a missing 10-year-old girl as a homicide.

According to the Chippewa Falls Police Department, Iliana Peters, also known as Lily, was found dead at 9:15 a.m. Monday. 

Meanwhile, Lily Peter’s father reported missing when she failed to return home from her aunt’s residence Sunday night.

“During this tragic time, we would want to express our heartfelt sympathies to Lily Peters’ family and friends,” Chippewa Falls Police Chief Matthew Kelm said.

There have been no arrests, and police say they follow up on several leads.

Family members last saw Peters at her aunt’s house, and she was supposed to be on her way home. 

Instead, a “bicycle believed to belong to Lily” was discovered in the woods near her aunt’s home.

Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department and Lake Hallie Police Department K9 teams were sent in to search the area, according to police.

Her last sighting was of her wearing a purple long-sleeved top, black stretch leggings, and grey sneakers.

Other details were withheld for the time being.

“We urge anyone with knowledge to contact the Chippewa Falls Police Department and to remain vigilant as there may be a public safety threat,” Kelm stated.
