Mizoram Wildfire Raging For 48 Hours In Control: Mizoram Fire News Today
The massive forest fire that has ravaged the Mizoram forests since Saturday is now under control. It also put two Indian Air Force helicopters under pressure to burn out the massive fire burning in two districts in southern Mizoram.
Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga tweeted a video of an IAF helicopter carrying a bamboo bucket filled with water to put out the forest fire and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Center for their “swift assurance and swift action.”

According to satellite data, there were 2,671 fires in the state between April 20 and 26, with more than 400 points on Monday alone. NASA’s Earthdata website also showed a large concentration of fires in and around the state on both Sunday and Monday.
