More Russian infantry and tanks moving toward Kyiv.
Satellite images taken on Sunday show a large group of Russian ground forces, including tanks, moving toward the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv from about 40 miles (64 km) away.
MAXR.N, the company that made the images, said the deployment of hundreds of military vehicles stretched for more than 3.25 miles (5 km).
The convoy was northeast of the Ukrainian city of Ivankiv, it said. It had fuel, logistics, and armored vehicles, like tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, and self-propelled artillery.
Satellite images also showed damage caused by recent airstrikes on the Antonov airport in Hostel. There was also a lot of fighting near the airport, Maxar said.
This has been going on for a while now. Maxar has been watching the Russians build up their forces.
