Mumbai: fire breaks out at Samsung service station in Kanjurmarg industrial estate.
A fire broke out at a Samsung service center in Kanjurmarg East, Mumbai on Monday night. At least 7 fire trucks and 4 water tankers were transported to the scene.
The incident took place at an industrial estate in the suburbs of Kanjurmarg, but there were no immediate reports of casualties, authorities said.
Authorities said the fire broke out at the Havy Industrial Estate complex located near the Kanjurmarg Police Station in East Mumbai at around 9.40pm.
A fire brigade official said eight fire trucks and four water tankers along with personnel arrived at the scene to obtain information about the fire.
Police personnel and civic district personnel were also at the scene.
“Efforts are being made to put out the flames. For now, there are no reports of injuries to anyone,” he said.
A civic official said the fire started at a service center of a multinational electronics company, but its cause was not yet known.
