NASA has written a new history on the chest of Mars. Helicopter Ingenuity of the US space agency flew in the sky of the red planet on Monday. This is the first time a helicopter has been seen flying in the sky of another planet. Undoubtedly, a new chapter has been written in the field of space missions. Naturally, NASA scientists and staff are overjoyed with such success. A video shared by NASA shows how everyone is raising their hands while sitting on the ground and witnessing a moment of success on screen.

Describing this success, a top NASA engineer said, “This is our Wright Brothers moment.” Incidentally, a historic moment in the history of human civilization was written when the Wright brothers’ plane flew in the sky. NASA sees success today as an extended chapter in virtually that history. And that’s why a small piece of cloth was kept in this helicopter that flew to Mars. This piece of cloth was on the wing of an aircraft called Flyer 1. That plane was flown by the Wright brothers in 1903.

This success of NASA did not come overnight. Scientists have come back at the last moment with many initiatives. However, they did not give up. Finally Monday came the desired success. The NASA helicopter was seen flying about 10 feet above the surface of Mars that day. Not only does it fly in the sky, but it can also be seen slowly descending to the ground. The density of air on Mars is 99 percent lower than on Earth. It was a challenge to fly a helicopter in such an adversity. Ingenuity not only flew, it also rose three meters above the ground. And NASA is overwhelmed by that. The helicopter came out of perseverance earlier this month. Hopefully, NASA will post more videos of the helicopter flying on social media.
