Netflix’s Delhi Crime Season 2 premieres August 26: Finally, the release date for Delhi Crime season 2 has arrived. The Shefali Shah-led police drama will return for its second season on August 26.
Netflix India released a teaser video and first-look images on Friday. The time between seasons is more than three years.
We know that DCP Vartika Chaturvedi (Shah) and her team, which includes newly promoted Neeti Singh (Rasika Dugal) and Bhupendra Singh (Rajesh Tailang), will be pursuing a “heinous gang of killers” who are preying on the city’s “vulnerable senior citizens” thanks to a synopsis that was previously revealed.
There is a contrast between the two in terms of class and economic status. As in the Delhi Crime season, two teaser trailer points us. In the Delhi Crime season 2 teaser, Chaturvedi states, “A large portion of Delhi’s populace lives in slums and supports the wealthy who live in palaces.”

Shah, Dugal, Tailang, Hussain, Anurag Arora, Sidharth Bhardwaj, Gopal Dutt, Tillotama Shome, and Jatin Goswami are all returning to reprise their respective roles in Delhi Crime season 2.
Although the majority of the Delhi Crime season 2 cast is still present. There has been a change behind the scenes. Richie Mehta, who created, wrote, and directed Delhi Crime season 1 and helped Netflix win its first International Emmy, not involve in season 2.
Tanuj Chopra, an Indian-American director (Punching at the Sun), has taken over as the show’s director and showrunner even though Mehta still receives creator credit.
