Two police officers were seriously injured in a clash between police and Nihang Sikhs. It is alleged that they were killed by the sword. The incident took place while swimming in Punjab on Sunday. The police personnel was attacked by Nihang Sikhs while trying to catch some criminals. Nihang Shikhara attacked the police with the open sword. In addition to those two SHO-level officers, several others were injured. They were rescued and sent to the hospital. Punjab Police has started an investigation into the whole incident.

According to police and local sources, two Nihang Sikhs have fled Maharashtra and are hiding in Sur Singh village of Tarn Taran. Who allegedly killed a man in Nanded, Maharashtra. Upon receiving this news, the Punjab police launched an operation with a large force. But before the two accused could reach them, the residents of the Nihang Sikh inhabited village started clashing with the police. It is alleged that the Nihang Sikhs jumped on the police with open swords. After that, the area of ​​Taran Taran almost took the appearance of a battlefield.

According to police sources, Valtohar SOH Narendra Singh and SHO Balwinder Singh were seriously injured in the attack by Nihang Sikhs. Swords fell in their hands. Several other policemen were also injured. Everyone was rescued and admitted to a local hospital.

This is not the first time. Earlier, similar allegations were made against Nihang Sikhs in Punjab. One such incident took place in Patiala, Punjab in April last year during the Corona period. Lockdown was going on then. But at that moment, a man dressed as Nihang Sikh was trying to enter a vegetable market with a companion. But the police tried to stop them. Then the Nihang Sikh attacked the sub-inspector of the Punjab police with a sword. It is alleged that the policeman was stabbed to death. The police officer of Seba was also rescued in a critical condition and admitted to the hospital. Then a similar allegation was made against a group of Nihang Sikhs of Taran Taran.
