Nottingham Forest has signed defender Omar Richards from Bayern Munich.
Omar Richards, a defender, has joined Nottingham Forest on a four-year deal from Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, the newly-promoted Premier League team announced on Sunday.
According to reports in the British media, Forest paid Bayern a sum of $9.82 million ($10.82 million) for the 24-year-old left-back who has made one under-21 England appearance.

Richards made 17 appearances for Bayern in all competitions during the 2021–22 campaign.
However, the team could not go beyond the quarterfinals of the Champions League despite winning the German league for the tenth consecutive year.
Forest has been active in the offseason, bringing in goalkeeper Dean Henderson on a season-long loan and buying Nigerian attacker Taiwo Awoniyi for a club-record amount. Forest’s season kicks off on August 6 with a trip to Newcastle United.
