Palak Tiwari, the daughter of popular television personality Shweta Tiwari, is quietly carving a name for herself in the glamour world.
She starred in Harrdy Sandhu’s music video for ‘Bijlee Bijlee,’ which became a huge smash and catapulted her into the spotlight.
In a recent discussion, she revealed details about her personal life.
When asked about her opinions on love and marriage, considering what her mother Shweta has gone through, Palak Tiwari responded in an interview with the Bombay Times, “My mum has always been a decent wife. My naani has also been observed.”
“So, I’m aware that love exists, and my perceptions of love and marriage are unblemished. But I’ve also realized that marriage should not be rushed.”
“It’s best to leave him right now if you suspect something is wrong with him. Women are the ones who battle the most with this, as I’ve witnessed with not only my mother but also women worldwide.”
“We keep making excuses for our spouses because we want to see their good. It’s excellent quality, but it’ll bite you in the end. That isn’t love, or at least not the type of love I want – not now, and certainly not in the future.”
She was also questioned about her relationship with her estranged father, Raja Chaudhary.
She responded, “After a period of sobriety, he is rediscovering himself and is in a great place. It’s been a new beginning for us. People also expect us to revert to our former roles as the perfect father-daughter combo, but that isn’t how it works. Because he was dealing with his troubles and I was growing up, we spent a lot of time apart. It’s all-new now that we’re getting to know each other.”
Palak will make her Bollywood debut in the psychological thriller ‘Rosie: The Saffron Chapter,’ which also stars Arbaaz Khan, Tanishaa Mukerji, and Shivin Narang.
