Palestine Govt claims Israeli Forces Kill 2 in West Bank Raid.
The Palestinian rescue agency said that two Palestinians were shot and killed by Israeli forces. But the military claimed it came into contact with armed persons while conducting midnight operations in the occupied West Bank.
Aboud Sobh, 29, and Muhammad Al-Azizi, 22, were named as the two Palestinians who died in Nablus skirmishes with the soldiers by the Palestinian Red Crescent.
The military withheld more information right away. However, according to Israeli media, military operations continued early on Sunday in additional West Bank locations.
According to media accounts, no Israeli soldiers were hurt during the firefight.
Since many months ago, Israeli soldiers have conducted almost daily raids in the West Bank to end a wave of assaults by Palestinians against Israelis that has since decreased.
