Party Workers Will Get Preference in Elections Not Leaders' Families: BJP Chief

The elections for Madhya Pradesh’s urban local bodies will be conducted in two stages. The first phase will take place on July 6 in 11 districts, while the second phase will take place on July 13 in 38 districts. The first phase’s votes will be tallied on July 17, and the second phase’s votes will be counted on July 18.

After the tenure of the local bodies finishes, elections will be placed in three districts: Alirajpur, Mandla, and Dindori.

JP Nadda, the BJP’s national president, lauded the performance of Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s administration ahead of the elections. Mr. Nadda, on the other hand, said that the party’s parliamentary board would decide on problems concerning the 2023 state elections.

“We would urge ministers and MPs’ families to strive for the party’s strengthening,” Mr. Nadda said of dynastic politics, “but workers will receive priority for representation in elections.”

“Many legislators’ children in Uttar Pradesh were capable. Madhya Pradesh may be in a similar situation. However, we must adhere to a policy, despite the evident agony it will cause. Finally, we must preserve our party’s internal democracy. “According to the BJP’s head,

“We’re working on a problem against the country’s long-standing political tradition and practice. We are opposed to dynastic politics. If we don’t do that, who will want to work for the party if a few families manage it?

“Even though the Chairman Minister and the state party chief cautioned us about the outcomes, we continued to field workers rather than our politicians’ children or family members in two recent polls in Madhya Pradesh. We followed the policy and will continue to do so in the future, “According to JP Nadda.

Mr. Nadda responded to the Enforcement Directorate’s notice to Congress President Sonia Gandhi and her son, MP Rahul Gandhi, in the National Herald case and the Congress’s subsequent attack on the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying, “Have you ever witnessed or heard a suspect claim that they are tainted? The Congress is no longer Indian, nor is it a political party, nor is it a political party. It’s a Bhai-behen get-together. No one wants to hear Rahul Gandhi on Indian soil; therefore, he doesn’t say anything.”

“Allow him (Rahul Gandhi) to go anywhere he wants in the world and speak whatever he wants in places like London, Birmingham, and Nepal. As we live in a democracy, he is free to go anywhere he wishes in the world, “Mr. Nadda said the following.
