President Rodrigo Duterte of the Philippines has criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin for murdering innocent people in Ukraine.
While they have been labeled murderers, Duterte – who publicly considers Putin a hero and a buddy – remarked, “I kill criminals, not children and the old.”
For the first time, the Philippines’ president condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
As the crisis in Ukraine continues to cause global turmoil, Duterte expressed worry about the stability of his country’s energy supplies.
“I’m on my way out and don’t know how to fix the situation,” Duterte stated.
