A new six-player match-made activity called the Wellspring is where players fight against Hive guardians. Players either attack or defend a major Light source in the Throne World. Every day, players can choose to either attack or defend. And they can earn two of four Throne World weapons linked to each option and its boss.
Many people are complaining about the drop rate of this activity, which is why so many people are complaining about it on the internet. People who play Reddit game JustVerySleepy say they’ve been playing Destiny 2 for four hours and haven’t been able to get a Deepsight resonance weapon to drop in the whole time.
Many players said this in the comments. They said they would get that day’s weapon, but not one that would help them with their quests or crafting.

Deepsight resonance weapons are what players need to unlock weapon frames at the Relic in the new Enclave social space. They are subject to RNG drops like most other loot in Destiny 2, but they can also find in random drops like other items. Once players have the resonance weapon. They must attune it and then get the materials to make things from the attuned weapon.
To get the weapon frame in the Relic, you have to keep attuning and extracting until it unlocked. You have to attune several resonance weapons to unlock them most of the time.

Four of these weapons can earn by completing the Wellspring activity. Even though the weapons can find for a fair amount of time. There’s no guarantee that you’ll get a Deepsight resonance version of the weapon you need to unlock Relics.
This means that players like JustVerySleepy could go to Wellspring for hours and only get one resonance weapon to drop. Which would make progress on their frames and quests very slow. If Bungie changes the drop rate in the Wellspring. It is now only a question of how quickly the team can get the change out to players.
