PM Modi calls Uddhav Thackeray to Enquires about wife’s health
Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday and asked him about the health of his wife Rashmi, the editor of the Saamana party spokesperson.
Rashmi, who tested positive for COVID-19 on March 23, was admitted to HN Reliance Hospital for some medical tests on Tuesday. He is responding well to treatment and his health is improving rapidly, the sources said.
“Upon learning of Rashmi Thackeray’s illness, Prime Minister Modi called CM Uddhav Thackeray to inquire about his health and wished him a healthy life,” said a Sena official.
On March 11, Rashmi had received the first injection of the covid vaccine at the government-run JJ hospital along with CM Thackeray and her mother.
