Mohit Grewal, an Indian wrestler, won the Men’s Freestyle 125kg bronze medal at the current Commonwealth Games on Friday after beating Aaron Johnson at the Coventry Arena Wrestling Mat B. On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked Grewal.
“Our wrestlers had incredible form. Mohit Grewal has added to the total number of medals. He wins a Bronze medal and stands out for his laser-like intensity. To him, my congratulations. I hope he has more success in the future, “Modi, the prime minister, tweeted.
Johnson was beaten 5-0 by Mohit Grewal to claim the bronze medal. In under three minutes and thirty seconds, he won the medal.

The Jamaican grappler was no match for the Indian grappler, who could hold his own and keep his opponent at bay.
Grewal used his superior wrestling prowess to defeat Johnson in a one-sided match.
India had a fantastic wrestling day, winning medals at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, including three gold ones.
In the CWGs, Bajrang Punia successfully defended his title and earned his second straight gold medal. While Deepak Punia won his first CWG medal, he did it with gold in his pocket. Sakshi Malik also performed at her peak and won gold to increase India’s total.
After losing the final match, Anshu Malik took home the silver medal. Divya Kakran and Mohit Grewal earned the bronze medal in the other divisions.
In the wrestling competition on Friday, India has now taken home six medals: three gold, one silver, and two bronze.
At the Commonwealth Games 2022, Indian competitors have taken home 26 medals, including nine golds, eight silvers, and nine bronze.
Beginning on July 28 in Birmingham, the Commonwealth Games 2022 will go until August 8.
