PM Modi hands over chadar to offer Ajmer Sharif Dargah to Naqvi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed over a chadar to the Minister of Minority Affairs, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, on Monday. The holy chadar will be offered on behalf of the prime minister at the shrine of the famous Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti.
Ajmer Shrine is one of the holiest Sufi shrines, frequented in great numbers by the faithful.
“He delivered a Chadar to be offered at the Ajmer Sharif Dargah at the 809th Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti,” Modi tweeted.
