Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the Air Force Station, Palam, in Delhi following a two-day trip to Japan, where he attended the Quad Leaders’ Summit.
Since their first virtual meeting in March 2021, in-person Summit in Washington, D.C. in September 2021, and virtual meeting in March 2022, the Quad Leaders have met four times.
PM Modi emphasized India’s continuous and principled stance on the need for a pause of hostilities, restoration of dialogue, and diplomacy at the Quad Summit.

PM Modi, along with the leaders of the Quad nations, attended the fourth meeting of the leaders, which saw Australia, Japan, and the US criticize Russian military action in Ukraine.
The leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to a free, open, and inclusive Indo-Pacific and the significance of respecting the values of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and peaceful dispute settlement throughout the summit.
They discussed the Indo-Pacific and the European war from different angles. The Prime Minister met with US President Joe Biden and new Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on the margins of the Quad Summit on Tuesday.
In a bilateral meeting, he will also meet with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
The Prime Minister attended several events on Monday, the first day of his visit to Japan.
He attended and hosted a corporate roundtable in Tokyo to launch the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity. He also had interactions with people from the Indian community.
