Congress demanded that the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab be dismissed following the assassination of renowned Punjabi artist Sidhu Moose Wala, claiming that it lacked the moral authority to rule.
Unidentified attackers shot and killed Moose Wala in Punjab’s Mansa district after the state government reduced his security protection.
Moose Wala, 27, was shot many times while in his vehicle in the hamlet of Jawahar Ke, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (Mansa) Gobinder Singh.

The “death of potential Congress politician and gifted artist, Sidhu Moose Wala,” stated former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, surprised and grieved.
“My sincere condolences to his family ones and followers throughout the globe,” Gandhi expressed his sorrow.
Priyanka Gandhi, a Congress politician, tweeted, “The assassination of Sidhu Moosewala Ji, a great singer, youth idol, and Congress leader, is heartbreaking. This has taken us all by surprise.”
On Twitter, Punjab Congress chairman Amarinder Singh Raja Warring stated, “I’m completely taken aback and speechless. The “broad daylight murder” of Moose Wala also shocked Congress’ leading spokesman, Randeep Surjewala.

The death of Moose Wala has come as a severe shock to Congress and the whole country, according to the party’s official Twitter account.

Dr Ranjeet Rai, a civil surgeon in Mansa, informed reporters that Moose Wala was taken to the public hospital dead.
In the recent election, he ran on the Congress ticket for the Mansa assembly seat but was beaten by the AAP’s Vijay Singla.
