Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke of Monday’s meeting in Paris with French Macron, the president of France Emmanuel Macron in the Kremlin as substantive, useful and professional.
Also, adding Macron’s ideas could serve as an element of future actions in the future.
The French leader flew to Moscow to discuss the conflict between the East and West over the Russian military expansion close to Ukraine and a Kremlin campaign to secure “guarantees” from Washington that could include a stoppage of NATO expansion.
In a joint press conference following the talks, Putin declared that many of Macron’s ideas regarding security were achievable.
The two could discuss further once Macron had traveled to Kyiv to meet with Ukraine’s leaders.

“A number of his ideas, proposals, which are probably still too early to talk about, I think it is quite possible to make the basis of our further joint steps,” the president declared.
“We have agreed that after his trip to the Ukrainian capital, we will call each other again and exchange views on this matter,” He declared.
Russia has erected more than 100,000 troops in Ukraine and has sparked fears that Moscow might be contemplating an invasion. Russia has denied those fears.
