Radical Islamist Attack on Pakistan Yesterday: A Dozen of People have been killed
Pakistan was unable to get off the FATF gray list. So, to clarify the picture, the Imran government has started cracking down on radical Islamist parties. Eight people have already died in Pakistan, which is already in a state of arson. More than 300 police officers were injured in an attack by the Islamic extremist group Tehreek-e-Labayek Pakistan. This time, the Pak administration banned the party.
TLP or “Tehreek-e-Labayek Pakistan” is known to have been outspoken in demanding the French ambassador’s expulsion to Pakistan. In the “Shirley Ebdo” of France, there is a sample of Hazrat Mohammad’s cartoon. That is why this extremist Islamic organization in Pakistan asks to sever all ties with France. They have already had a meeting with the Pak administration. They assured them that they would expel the ambassador in February. And an agreement is also in that context. But then the Imran government moved. He did not change the decision and dismissed the ambassador.
There is danger. Saad Hussain Rizvi, the extremist group leader, was arrested on behalf of the Imran Khan administration. Since then, protests have escalated on behalf of the organization. They began to protest everywhere. Since last Monday, that situation has taken the form of a battlefield. It created a burning situation in Pakistan’s Punjab province. The Imran administration then banned the extremist TLP to clear up Pakistan’s image.
The administration has already begun to evacuate the roads that were jammed to the protests. Experts believe that the Pakistani government is desperate to get off the gray list by tightening its grip on extremist groups.
