It’s important to note that the Congress and the Telugu Desam Party allied in the last Assembly elections in Telangana in 2018. However, they could not stop the return of the KCR government.

Earlier this month, Telangana Congress chief Revanth Reddy dismissed the possibility of an alliance with the TRS party, saying that the grand old party would ally with any party except KCR’s because “he is not trustworthy.”

“Congress will avoid any alliance with KCR and his TRS party at all costs due to his lack of trustworthiness. Since 2004 and 2009, we have seen him. In 2014, we saw him. Neither KCR nor TRS is people we can trust ”
