Congress MP and leader Rahul Gandhi are scheduled to arrive at Panaji the day before Friday (February 4, 2022) during his long-distance trip to the state’s coastal region.
According to an official statement by Amarnath Panjikar, Chairman of Goa Pradesh Congress Committee Media Department, Rahul Gandhi was initially scheduled to visit on February 2.
Still, he was postponed until February 4 due to obligations in the parliamentary system and his trip to Raipur on February 3 to attend the Bhoomi Poojan of the memorial to honor martyrs.
Rahul Gandhi will meet with representatives from his Tourism Sector, Anganwadi staff, and other teams.
Additionally, he’ll be a speaker at workers’ meetings and guide candidates to Congress.
In the Wayanad MP’s visit to Goa this Friday, he’ll conduct a door-to-door drive in Sada, Mormugao, at 10 am.
Then, he’ll have an interview with the Candidates on the premises of The International Centre, Dona Paula, at 12.30.
At 2.15 2:15 pm, Rahul Gandhi will have talks with tourism officials, owners, shack owners, and CII members on Dona Paula.
In the evening, at 4 pm, he’ll attend the “NIRDHAR” virtual rally at Sankhali Municipal Ground, Sankhali, Sanquelim.
Goa will be going to the Assembly elections on February 14. The counting of votes is scheduled to be conducted on March 10.
