In this way, the Conference is a place for naval commanders to talk about critical maritime issues at a military-strategic level and meet with senior government officials in an official setting.
General Manoj Mukund Naravane, the head of the Indian Air Force, and Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari, the director of the Indian Air Force, will also meet with naval commanders to talk about how the three services work together and how they can be more ready, the government said in a statement.
The Chief of the Naval Staff and other naval commanders will review major operational, equipment, logistics, human resource development, training, and administrative activities the Indian Navy has done in the last six months. They will also talk about what the Indian Navy plans to do in the future.
The geostrategic situation would also be looked at at the conference, the security threats in the area, and the challenges arising from the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
The Indian Navy is focused on being a combat-ready, credible, and cohesive force with a future-ready outlook. It is still working hard to do its job. The Navy has seen a significant increase in its operational tasks, in line with India’s growing maritime interests.
The Indian Navy’s reputation as a “Preferred Security Partner” has also risen. In 2020-21, Indian navy ships went on many COVID-related missions to help IOR countries and other countries in the region get food and medicine. This is part of the government’s goal of SAGAR, which stands for “Security and Growth for All in the Region.”
