Realme Teases ‘Big Announcement’ at IFA 2020, Realme X3 Pro May Debut

Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth joked on Friday with a “big announcement” at IFA 2020 that will take place in Berlin starting September 4. If we look at the rumor mill, the Realme X3 Pro is likely to be the success of the Chinese company. Also earlier this week, it introduced the 125W UltraDART fast charging technology that would be part of the new Realme phone that will debut at the three-day IFA event. Remarkably, this will be the first time that Realme will participate in IFA.

Sheth answered a tweet aware by the official IFA Berlin Twitter account announcing Realme’s debut at IFA 2020 by saying a big announcement is coming. Sheth, however, did not provide any details.

However, the Realme X3 Pro appears to be one of the company’s possible announcements at the IFA event. A list from TENAA suggested that the new Realme phone would come with a piercing screen and quad rear cameras. It’s also likely to come with the new 125W UltraDART fast charging technology, which appears to be a new version of Oppo’s latest Flash charging development.

The Oppo spin-off, which is targeting its local competitors, including Huawei and Xiaomi, also has its artificial intelligence (AIoT) family underway under the 1 + 4 + N product strategy that a launch may have. global in Berlin. Devices including Realme Watch and Realme Band are already available in markets like India under the AIoT segment.

In June, Sheth revealed that Realme is working on its smart speakers and products such as electric toothbrushes, car chargers, and smart locks, among others. It’s easy to believe that some of them will be revealed during the company’s announcement at IFA 2020.

Honor, Huawei, LG, Qualcomm, Schneider Electric, and TPLink are among the key participants in IFA 2020 which will be held as an in-person event from September 3-5 in Berlin despite the coronavirus outbreak. However, Samsung, which until now has been one of the key sponsors of the fair, has already decided to skip this year’s event due to the pandemic.
