Rohit Sharma's Team Looks To Continue Dominant

After securing victory in the T20I series with West Indies, Team India will try to maintain their momentum to the series of three matches against Sri Lanka, beginning Thursday.

India and Sri Lanka will square off in three T20Is and two Tests, with the opening game of the series scheduled to take place on the streets of Lucknow this Thursday.

Some of the players like Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and Shardul Thakur were rested for the series with Sri Lanka, and hence it gives a chance for players like Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shreyas Iyer to demonstrate the potential they have.

The pair failed at the end of the second T20I with West Indies, but they hope to impress when they face Sri Lanka.

The spinner Ravi Bishnoi was also impressed in his debut T20I series and will continue the momentum.

Jasprit Bumrah will also be back to his series in Sri Lanka, and the bowling attack will be strengthened even more.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar proved his capabilities during his series with Windies, and it was an important positive.

The highlight of the past week was Venkatesh Iyer. His ability to end matches for India is a major indication, and if he is able in improving his bowling skills, the team will create a world-class all-rounder.
