Salman Khan's Blackbuck Poaching Case

Earlier this week, the Rajasthan High Court was permitted to move two petitions from the Jodhpur District and Sessions Court. They were filed in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case in which actor Salman Khan is a suspect.

These two petitions will now be heard in the high court and the one already there.

In the high court, Mr. Khan asked that these two petitions be moved to him so that all three cases could be heard simultaneously.

“After a short hearing, Justice PS Bhati agreed to move the two petitions to the high court, where a petition by the state is already being heard. All of these cases will now be heard simultaneously, which will save a lot of time, “Mr. Khan’s lawyer, HM Saraswat, said.

Mr. Khan went to court on April 5, 2018, to fight his five-year sentence for hunting two blackbucks. Mr. Khan had already been acquitted in a case under the Arms Act when the state filed a petition in the same court. This petition was from the state.

Saif Ali Khan, Neelam Kothari, Sonali Bendre, and Tabbu are just a few of the actors who the court acquitted. The state also tried to get them to be convicted. Until now, this petition had been in the hands of the high court.

“All three petitions were about the same thing, so we asked for the two petitions in the District & Session court to be moved to the high court so that all three could be heard in the same court.”

At first, the state’s lawyer asked for more time to file his response. During the final arguments on the petition, he didn’t object to the two pleas being moved to the high court.

The order was finally made on Monday, which means that the hearing can start again. It has been a long since the court decided to keep the order in reserve, but it was finally made. This means that the hearing can start again.
