Sean Paul lost millions due to a pandemic.
Jamaican rapper Sean Paul has recently shared that the pandemic has not been easy for him. The rapper stated that he has lost millions as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Paul said the loss of money has been the result of not being able to travel for two years. In an interview with Page six Paul also shared that since he has asthma, he was definitely not going to take any chances.
I landed on March 8 [2020] from a tour with Shaggy in New Zealand. I was on the plane in my mask and shaggy [was] laughing at me like, ‘What are you doing bro? You’re making the plane smell like a hospital right now. I’m spraying Lysol and cleaning … I said, ‘Brother, I have asthma,’ so for me it was a definite lesson.
The rapper shared that he usually spends six montages a year on tour, which is something he hasn’t been doing. Paul is also a huge supporter of the charity, which is something he has continued despite losing income from the tour.
However, the rapper has tried to focus on the positives. The pandemic has given him the opportunity to work on his next album, “Scorcha,” which is expected to come out in February.
Paul has also expressed his gratitude for having more time to spend with the family. However, he also admits that “the extra conversations can be annoying. I need a quiet moment, there is a moment when we need to talk to God, to ourselves, and that time is over. ”
