Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut suggests not wearing a musk.

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Friday (December 31) suggested not wearing masks. But, according to ANI, he gives a childish reason that he follows Modi as the prime minister.

In an interview with ANI, Raut was caught on camera in an open area in Nashik with no mask.

When asked about why he doesn’t wear masks, Raut said, “Our Prime Minister tends to ask people to wear masks. But he does not wear one. So since we all respect the Prime Minister, I do not wear a mask.”

In the meantime, Maharashtra, the state with the highest COVID incidence in the initial and second waves of the coronavirus pandemic, has been able to report 290 Omicron cases.

Of all of them, Mumbai seems to be the most affected, with up to 160 Omicron cases, without any previous travel history to the international level, raising questions regarding the beginning of transmission in the community.

Section 144 was made mandatory in Mumbai until January 7 to stop the further spread in celebrations of the New Year celebrations.
