Sony gives us a first look at the PlayStation VR2 Headset

Sony gives us a first look at the PlayStation VR2 Headset:  When Sony showed off PlayStation VR2 in January, people could see it. This new version of the PlayStation VR is a huge improvement over the first one.

A website that tells you what to expect from both the controller and the headset recently came out. Now, we can see the PlayStation VR2 headset for the first time in public.

The headset has a PS5-like look to it.

A post on the PlayStation Blog has more information about the PS VR2. The first thing you notice about the headset and the controller is how similar they look.

Senior Vice President of Platform Experience Hideaki Nishino says this has “a matching ‘orb’ look,” which is what this looks like. He also said, “The round shape of the orb represents the 360-degree view that players get when they enter the virtual reality world.”

The headset also takes a lot of inspiration from the PS5 and its other products. As soon as they get their hands on the game, Nishino says that people will notice this.

This headset is also thinner than before, but it still has new features like a motor for feedback from the headset and a lens adjustment dial. This was hard for the developers to work on until they came up with a solution.

Other features in the headsets include 4K graphics and camera tracking. The headset hasn’t been released yet, but games are already being made by studios that have PS VR2 development kits, which means they can make them.
