Teenager shot dead in Bhatpara from Point Blank Range.
Again, shootout in Bhatpara. The relatives of the teenager complained that the police did not detain them despite naming the defendants. It is still a mystery whether the murder was politically motivated or not.
Sources claiming the name of the dead teenager is Raja Chowdhury. He was near the Central School adjacent to the Bhatpara Police Station around 11:30 pm on Thursday. Witnesses say that two young murderers came by motorcycle at that time and blocked him. One grabbed his hand. The other shot him in the head from the point-blank range. After that, they ran away from the area by motorcycle. Meanwhile, the Raja fell on the road with his bloody body. The local public brings him to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him dead.
Raja’s family filed a complaint against the murderer at the Bhatpara Police Station in the evening. They claimed that they informed the police about the culprits of the murder but took no action till now. Many local people are saying that this incident because of political issues. So, the Election commission should investigate the case as soon as possible.
